We finished up Silas' birthday weekend with a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific and to the beach!

We also decided to buy some nectar and feed the lorikeets. The birds loved David. The boys thought it was hilarious. David wasn't too sure...

After we left the aquarium we stopped by Chick-fil-@ and headed to Manhattan Beach. The boys had a picnic and then we went to play in the sand.

At one point I was laying on the blanket watching the boys dig and Silas came over to join me. Suddenly he wanted to crawl underneath me. This is what David captured. It was really very funny. He loves to bury himself under pillows and blankets when he sleeps. I guess he wanted to burrow under me since there were no pillows or blankets on the beach!

We saved our presents for Silas until Sunday so we could celebrate all weekend. He had fun opening them.
