As I mentioned in the previous post, David arrived in Texas with the flu, like real influenza. It kind of put a damper on our holidays. :( He was one sick guy! He didn't leave our room for 2 days, except to go to the doctor. Thank goodness the boys had their flu shots and my parents, Sarah and I all started T@miflu within 24 hours. And praise the Lord, we all stayed well!
We opened presents with my parents and Sarah on Christmas eve after the boys' naps. We got them in the Christmas spirit by having a little dance party sing-a-long to Christmas music while we got all of the gifts ready to go. It was quite a site. The boys were really funny opening all of their presents and loved all of their new toys.

A big THANK YOU hug to Aunt Sarah...or maybe he's tackling her?
I would say this is a definitely a "thank you" tackle
A new camera for our budding photographer
I really need to do a post sampling some of Joel's camera work. It's pretty good for a 3 year old.

And Silas models the rest of the outfit
We pause this Christmas for a brief clean-up, clean-up, everybody, everywhere!

We finished opening most of our gifts on Christmas eve and momma cooked a delicious steak dinner with key lime pie for dessert. Yummy!
Christmas morning we woke up and "Santa" brought a few things to the boys. Though David and I still haven't fully reconciled how we'll handle Santa, if you don't believe in Santa at LeLe's house, he stops bringing presents. So when we are at LeLe's, we believe in Santa! The boys loved all of their new toys!
Proof that Joel got a motorcycle!
And so did Silas!
And there were tools and gears and cars all around!
A very Merry Christmas for all of us. We are so blessed to have such an incredible family with whom to celebrate the birth of Christ.
We love because He first loved us. - I. John 4:19
